ABOUT

I’m Madison, a painter and sculptor from South Florida. I moved to New York to earn my BFA at The Cooper Union. While there, I found a voice in sculpture and an ability to translate my ideas through physical mediums and on canvas. My work concentrates on both color and form, seeing how they can materialize different perspectives. I enjoy exploring what defines my perspective in our reality over the past few years. My recent work has focused on horizon lines and how they separate the sky and Earth while being intangible.

Further:
My paintings are meant to solicit different reactions from person to person. I believe that Color doesn’t necessarily need a material form to aid in the recognition of past memories or places. I’m always very interested to hear what people see or feel based on my created palettes. For me, each pieces is a really specific moment. No one else will have the same feelings attached. I think individualized perspectives are really interesting.
